A smarter way to recover — from first movement to full control

The Knee CPM & MAXM Skate Rental Bundle is designed to support your rehabilitation step by step, guiding you safely from early joint movement through to active muscle control.

Why choose the Knee CPM & MAXM Skate Rental Bundle?

Recovery doesn’t happen in one step — it happens in stages.
The Knee CPM & MAXM Skate bundle supports your rehabilitation from early passive movement through to active muscle control, helping you regain mobility, strength, and confidence safely.

Using both devices together allows you to:

  • Maintain joint movement early after surgery or injury
  • Gradually re-activate muscles when your body is ready
  • Progress naturally from assisted motion to independent movement
  • Maximise recovery while reducing stiffness and discomfort

Passive vs Active Movement – What’s the difference?

Passive Movement (CPM):
The CPM machine gently moves your joint for you. Your muscles stay relaxed while the device guides the movement through a controlled range. This is ideal in the early stages of recovery when movement is needed, but muscle effort is limited.

Active Movement (MAXM Skate):
The MAXM Skate encourages you to move your leg yourself, using your own muscles while still providing support and control. This helps rebuild strength, coordination, and confidence.

Why both matter:
Passive movement prepares the joint.
Active movement restores function.
Together, they create a complete rehabilitation pathway

Can I use both devices in the same day?

Yes — you can use both devices on the same day as part of a balanced recovery routine.

A typical day might look like:

  • Morning: CPM session to gently loosen the joint and reduce stiffness
  • Later in the day: MAXM Skate session to actively engage muscles once the joint feels warmed up
  • Evening: CPM session to maintain range of motion and support circulation

This combination helps reduce stiffness while steadily building strength.
