Knee replacement therapy

If you are having a major knee operation such as a knee replacement, you will require significant help with your rehabilitation. Cold and compression products can help reduce your knee pain and joint swelling pre- and post-operatively. Our knee CPMs (used in hospital and available for rent at home) are excellent adjuncts to your active exercise therapy and are available to rent in your home from as little as £10 per day.

Diabetes care

If you have diabetes as a medical condition, it is vitally important that you take good care of your feet so that you avoid ulcers which can potentially lead to leg amputations. Kinetec offer a range of foot based solutions to help you protect your feet, including the Solesee® inspection mirror, Sockwell® diabetes friendly socks and a wide range of off the shelf shoes including the Pulman® house shoe range.

Stroke

If you or a family member have suffered from a stroke, the rehabilitation process can be long and arduous. Fortunately there are a number of products in our range that can help you regain limb function or help with mobility. Our outstanding Kinetec Kinevia Duo is designed to help with any patients who have had a neurological incident and need to retrain their brain and limbs. We have a range of footwear with ‘drop down’ backs that are designed for patients who need one-handed shoe application or room for their AFO.

Plantar Fasciitis

We offer a comprehensive range of products to help anyone suffering from the painful foot condition of plantar fasciitis. Our OrthoSole® range of insoles are customisable and enable the wearer to stretch their arch and reduce the pain. The Sockwell® plantar fasciitis socks provide a firm compression around the foot, lifting the arch and help alleviate the pain. The FitLine® night splints we offer enable the patient to stretch their achilles tendon whilst worn during rest. The Dr.Aktive® ankle cold compression therapy (CCT) wrap helps you to manage the pain when it is at its worse.
