The Gaia Grey AS (‘Autonomy Shoe’) is ideal for wearers who are looking for a high quality, practical and comfortable outdoor shoe that has been designed specifically for hemiplegics and stroke patients. The upper is made from water-resistant, breathable fabric and has a seamless lining. The specially designed heel facilitates easy access of the foot and the BOA® fixation system ensures the shoe closes evenly and easily with one hand. Available in sizes 2 (35), 3 (36), and 5 (38). These extremely lightweight, very thin carbon fibre insoles are ideal for stiffening the sole of any shoe where you require rigidity. The contoured shape and slight rocker make this ideal for shoes when secondary prevention of ulceration is required. Fit the carbon fibre insole between the existing insole and shoe sole. These insoles cannot be trimmed as they are made from carbon fibre. (The supplied carbon fibre insoles will be black in colour rather than silver as shown.) A stylish, modern Pulman® sandal designed for the outdoors combining many of the key features of the traditional Pulman® range with new fabrics. The rear of the sandal opens up using a Velcro® fastening to allow easy access for the wearer. The sandal also opens across the instep with two hidden Velcro® fastenings to allow adjustability and easy application.
