The Kinetec® Kinevia is an active-passive intelligent exercise therapy system. The range features the Kinevia AL and Kinevia AL+ for upper and lower limbs. Kinetec® manufactures all Kinevia’s at our factory in Tournes, France.

The Kinevia AL is our base model, offering essential features such as pedals, handles, height adjustment, and a built-in screen. From this starting point, you can customise the system to better suit the specific needs of your patients and clinic.
With a wide range of accessories, features, and configuration options available, you can build your own customised Kinevia AL around the way you and your patients work. To make choosing the right options easier, our online configurator below allows you to explore the available choices, create your ideal Kinevia AL+, and request a quote.
Once you’ve created your configuration, and received your quote, you can take your quote to our sales team, who will be happy to talk you through your options and guide you through the next steps.
Regular, repeated movement can play an important role in rehabilitation, helping patients build strength, improve muscle tone, maintain joint mobility, and stimulate circulation.
Kinevia offers three exercise modes to adapt therapy to each patient’s abilities and rehabilitation goals. Passive mode provides gentle, motor-driven movement; Assisted mode supports patients with limited muscle strength, and Active mode offers 20 resistances.
Designed to make rehabilitation simple, flexible, and accessible. From tool-free adjustments and smooth-rolling premium wheels to a 5-year warranty extension on mechanical parts, every detail is designed to deliver a reliable, premium experience for both patients and clinicians.
Interactive games, videos, and individual progress reports help keep patients motivated and engaged, encouraging consistent participation and supporting measurable progress throughout rehabilitation.
As mentioned above, the Kinevia AL is the base model and the starting point for creating your custom system. There are a few essential options that need to be selected during the manufacturing process, so we’ve placed these at the beginning to make sure nothing is missed.
From there, additional features and accessories can be purchased and added separately or at a later stage, giving you the flexibility to build your Kinevia around your needs.
Enjoy building your ideal Kinevia!

A clinical study conducted at the Ulm-RKU University and Rehabilitation Clinics assessed the Kinevia and Kinevia Duo movement therapy systems in seven patients aged 22–77 with paralysis or neuromuscular conditions.
The study included both passive and active exercise, with settings individually adjusted for each patient, including speed, resistance, pedal radius, and spasm control. The systems were evaluated for their ability to support upper and lower limb rehabilitation through controlled and progressive movement.
The study reported several positive outcomes, including increased alertness, improved blood supply to trained muscles, stabilisation of circulatory function, and increased general wellbeing. The Kinevia was considered useful for patients experiencing loss of arm or leg function associated with conditions such as spinal cord injuries, multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy, brain injury, and other neuromuscular disorders. The study also found the system’s controls and display were easy to use, with smooth acceleration and an integrated spasm detection function.
