Yes. We recommend adding ice to the Cryo Pro along with water to help keep the water at an effective cooling temperature. If you don't have loose ice available, reusable ice blocks can also be used. The Cryo Pro requires ice, water and power to operate effectively.
No, you don't need to empty the wrap after every individual session. If you are using the Cryo Pro again later, you can leave it ready for your next treatment. However, we recommend draining the wrap and the unit when you have finished using it for the day or before transporting it.
You can use the Cryo Pro for up to 60 minutes at a time. After each session, it is recommended that you rest for at least the same amount of time before using the unit again. Always follow any specific guidance provided by your healthcare professional.
We recommend starting on a lower compression setting and adjusting based on your comfort and your healthcare professional's advice. The Cryo Pro offers Low, Medium and High compression settings, so you can gradually find the setting that feels most comfortable for you. We do not recommend using the Cryo Pro while you are asleep. The unit should be used while you are awake so you can monitor your comfort and treatment.
