Safety strap designed for the cross bar of articulating traction frames. This strap acts as added security and is easy to attach. It is supplied with all new articulating frames but can also be purchased as an accessory to retrofit on older frames. Clamps used with the Kinetec orthopaedic traction bars are notched and offer 16 different positions. They are made from cast iron with easy tightening bolts. The most commonly used are the double clamps which come in fixed or swivel options. There are a range of weights and weight kits available from Kinetec. The traditional cast iron weights slot onto a carrier and 'lock' into place. Two kit options can be purchased - 5kg and 10kg. Traction cord is available. This comes in 100m length. It is specifically designed for use with traction as it has no 'stretch'. There are a range of pulleys available with Kinetec orthopaedic traction. The most commonly used is the open pulley. Also available are closed pulleys (ideal for patients who are restless or move a lot eg children), fixed open pulleys and a heavy duty open pulley (4655005279) that will take a weight of 40kg. All of the other pulleys accept traction weight of 10kg. The 'Simple Pulleys on a Column' can be simply slotted over the end of a bed for simple inferior limb traction. Clamp bars combine a standard bar with a clamp. These enable excellent adaptability and positioning of pulleys. These are available with the clamp at one end or with a centre clamp. These clamp bars come in a wide variety of lengths from 13cm to 200cm. The plain bars are octagonal tubes made from anodised aluminium, 34mm diameter, high strength. These come in a wide range of lengths. The reinforced plain bars are for the long or top bars that need to support the weight of a patient.
